Flip-flops are not only a necessity at the spa, they can also be excellent means to showcase floor samples.
Forbo is one of the world leaders in flooring systems. We were asked to help them out with the launch of Spirit of Spa, their new wet room collection. The strategy was to inspire and activate the target audience – architects –while increasing sales.
The company’s most common approach is to send out samples so that the architects can get a feel for the material. This time we wanted to give them a chance to try something new. Literally.
The Spa Offer gave us a chance to introduce our products to our target audience in a way that they were not accustomed to. A move that created a lot of buzz in the industry. When the campaign was completed, we had follow-up meetings with Forbo's sellers and all of the architects. The response was overwhelming with an open rate of 98%. Spirit of Spa also broke sales records after only three weeks selling 51% more than last year's wet room collection.
